Eastern Pike SC’s travel program is an opportunity for young athletes to play competitive soccer in an environment that provides high-quality player development with proven and consistent coaching.

The travel program promotes long-term development with an emphasis on fundamental soccer skills. In addition, the Club strives to instill in each player a love for the game, the importance of good sportsmanship, and a commitment to teamwork.  Many of our coaches are trained and licensed by U.S. Soccer and are committed to continually growing as coaches and teachers to help every young player reach their full potential.

The travel program runs year-round with both a fall and spring season.  During the fall and spring, Eastern Pike SC’s travel teams typically participate in the East Hudson Youth Soccer League in New York and compete against teams from around the Hudson Valley.

  • SPRING SEASON: Late March/early April-June
  • FALL SEASON: September-mid-November

Each season consists of approximately eight to 10 games on Sunday afternoons, half of which are played at the home field located in Matamoras, Pa.

In addition to the regular fall and spring seasons, many teams choose to participate in winter leagues and tournaments throughout the year; while the most competitive teams may be selected to compete in a State Cup competition.

The travel year runs from July 1 through June 30.

Registration is $250.00 per year.  Payment plans are available upon request, as well as hardship scholarships.

*The registration fee does not cover the cost of additional tournaments, winter leagues, or other events that a team may choose to participate in.

The required uniform is purchased separately through  It includes two game day jerseys (white and red), shorts, socks, and two practice jerseys (red and black).  Individual teams may also require the Club’s warmup jacket and warmup pants.

The Club changes uniforms every two years and has had the current uniform for one year now.

If your child is invited to join a team you will receive an e-mail from a Coach or Team Manager that will contain a list of all necessary paperwork that must be submitted to the Club within one week of receiving the invitation to play.

Teams typically practice twice a week during the spring and fall seasons, and once a week while indoors during the winter based on field/gym availability.

Eastern Pike SC is a registered not-for-profit organization that prides itself in keeping costs as low as possible to give all players an opportunity to play.  In order to do this, participation in fundraisers is mandatory.

The EPYSC Fundraising Committee and Board of Directors will set the minimum that must be raised by each player and/or team each year to help cover costs that are not covered by the $250 registration fee.
